The Park City Fire Department began with a 1972 Ford pumper and tanker housed in a County owned building. In 1992 the truck was replaced with a new one and their old truck was passed down to Petersburg. The new truck was totaled in wreck and 1978 pumper was purchased for $20,000. That truck is still in use at Park City along with a tanker and a mini pumper. Their station has been recently renovated.
